Hi,

it's been pretty quiet on the list, so let's kick it up a notch.

I'm proud to announce that we are organizing the 19th ASSEMBLY this
August, from 5th to 8th of August at Hartwall Areena, in Helsinki,
Finland. I feel proud because even after all this years we continue to
organize a great party where demos take the center stage.

We continue to put our money where our mouth is. The total prize pool
for all competitions at ASSEMBLY Summer 2010 exceeds €40 000. All
winners will receive 100% cash prizes, e.g., the demo compo winner will
go home with €7000 and participate also in the Live2011 finals for a
shot of another €20 000.

Big prizes doesn't equal a good party. That's why we continue to
throw a lot of effort into smooth organizing, cool program with concerts
and parties and standout seminars.

Speaking of which, we are looking for speakers to the ARTtech
seminars. We've already confirmed several very interesting speakers and
want you to join them. Email me if you are interested!

Compo rules have not yet been finalized. However, there won't huge
changes from last year so you can work on your production based on last
year's rules available here:

We'll finalize rules during May. If you have suggestions, please
shoot them over to compos2010 at assembly.org

Oldskool tickets will be offered at 50% discount like in previous
years. Ticket sales starts on 16th of May.

This is going to be a kick ass year and I know that several top teams
are working on their compo entries. Join them and come to ASM for the
best party of the summer 2010!

   CU at ASM!
