Kajak3D is a cross-platform middleware for game and simulator applications. Architecture of Kajak3D is designed to be as portable as possible from mobile devices up to modern gaming consoles. Application developers do not need any knowledge of OpenGL- or DirectX interfaces, because Kajak3D hides these implementation details, as well a hardware specific issues. Therefore developers can concentrate on making of an application itself, which is very portable between supported platforms. The best compo entry using Kajak 3D will get a prize of 1000 euros in cash. Check out more information about the engine and competition: http://www.assembly.org/summer11/compos/sponsored-unofficial/kajak-gamedev MUSICAL NEWS! The most important content of AssemblyTV for all the sceners are naturally the compos and the discussions after them. During the past few years we've enjoyed some classic moments, like the infamous ASD vs. fairlight handwrestlings! We are now searching for compo studio guests for this year's event. Our compo lineup consists of game development, graphics, music, extreme music, fast gfx, fast music, short film, real wild, oldskool demo, 4k intro, 64k intro and, of course, demo. For details, check out http://www.assembly.org/summer11/compos If you are an experienced coder, musician or graphician or just a huge fan of the scene and would want to join our studio as a guest, drop a few words about yourself and the compos you're interested in to arttu.haglund at assemblytv.net or query luuk on IRCnet! You can also help by spreading the word. P.S. After a few years of hiatus, Matthew Walster aka dotwaffle is returning to host the compo studios, so you're in good hands! :) -- luuk / 6th Fire Arttu Haglund / ASMORG^LiveCrew AssemblyTV Compo studio producer -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
