KAJAK 3D ENGINE COMPETITION
Kajak3D game engine is developed in Kajaani University of Applied
Sciences. Kajak3D is a cross-platform middleware for game and simulator
applications. Architecture of Kajak3D is designed to be as portable as
possible from mobile devices up to modern gaming consoles. Application
developers do not need any knowledge of OpenGL- or DirectX interfaces,
because Kajak3D hides these implementation details, as well a hardware
specific issues. Therefore developers can concentrate on making of an
application itself, which is very portable between supported platforms.
The best compo entry using Kajak 3D will get a prize of 1000 euros in
cash. Check out more information about the engine and competition:

MUSICAL NEWS!
We are publishing our band lineup for Assembly concerts today. Machinae
Supremacy will be playing on the main stage on Thursday 4th August and
Press Play on Tape will be taking it on Friday 5th of August!
Don't miss this opportunity to hear both of the excellent bands. They
are playing in the evening, so you'd need a weekend ticket to enjoy
them. There are some more oldskool computer places available if you want
one - or buy your normal oldskool weekend ticket from tickets.assembly.org
See you at Assembly Summer 2011 - the 20th consecutive summer event!
