Hey good folks,

we are prepping up the 25th edition of ASSEMBLY and I'm hoping to see
all of you there (both inside and at BZM of course)! Tickets are
obviously available at greatly reduced prices for oldskoolers at
https://tickets.assembly.org.

Compo categories this year haven't changed, though some updates have
been done to e.g. PC compo machines. Update on compos here:
http://www.assembly.org/summer16/demoscene/rules/

For the Oldskool demo compo, we are upping the specs to PC Pentium
133MHz, Amiga AGA 68060/66MHz and Atari Falcon 68060/66MHz - to the time
when there was real competition across these platforms. Would <3 to see
Falcon entry taking PC on and Amiga demo that we can all go AMIGAAAH on!

We have a couple of remaining slots open for speakers at the ARTech
seminars. If you are interested in talking about coding, graphics, music
or other demoscene related topics, please drop a line to Sonja who heads
our seminars --> sonjangesleva at gmail.com.

Outside of doing ASSEMBLY, me & Pehu work at Unity Technologies. We've
got a couple of current and ex-sceners here and are always looking for
more awesome folks to join the team. All the positions are here:
http://unity3d.com/helsinki/

I wanted to highlight the Visual Effects Designer position, which would
be perfect for an artist with scene background and professional
experience in VFX and/or mobile games. Check it out:
https://boards.greenhouse.io/unity3d/jobs/238411#.V3O1MJN94UE

If you find some of the positions interesting, ping me at abyss at assembly.org

See you all in August!
