Assembly Winter 2014 on taas tulossa ja tänä vuonna muuttuukin moni 
asia. Suurimmat muutokset ovat tapahtuman pitopaikassa, sillä tapahtuma 
järjestetään Helsingin Messukeskuksessa ja ajankohtana on 31.1 - 
2.2.2014 (PE-SU).

Avaamme Winter -tapahtuman sivuston piakoittain ja lipunmyynti alkaa 
joulukuussa. Lippujen hinnat ovat suurinpiirtein samat kuin viime 
tapahtumassa, konepaikka maksaa 55 euroa ja viikonlopun lippu 30 euroa.

Messukeskuksessa järjestetään samaan aikaan MP 2014 
(moottoripyöränäyttely). Sinulla on vapaa pääsy tähän näyttelyyn 
Assembly lipullasi - olemme kyllä eri halleissa, joten lanitusta tuo ei 
häiritse.

Paikan muutos antaa meille mahdollisuuden kasvattaa hieman tapahtumaa, 
mutta myös tietokonepaikkoihin tulee muutoksia. Tilaa löytyy enemmän, 
pesutiloja on käytössä laajemmin (mm suihkut) ja ravintolatarjonta 
laajenee. Paikalle on myös helpompi tulla autolla, joka oli ongelma 
edellisessä paikassa.

Assembly Turnaukset

Järjestämme sueraavat pääturnaukset Assembly Winter 2014 tapahtumassa:

DotA2 - Palkintopotti 5.000 eur
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Palkintopotti 5.000 eur
Tekken TT2 - Palkintopotti 2.000 eur

Olemme myös työstämässä suurta kansainvälistä turnausta, josta kerrotaan 
lisää joulukuussa. Myös pienempiä turnauksia on luvassa, 
kokonaispalkintopotin ollessa arviolta yli 30.000 euroa!

Olemme innoissamme uudesta paikasta ja sen tuomista mahdollisuuksista, 
assyt palaa messukeskukseen 15 vuoden tauon jälkeen!

Joten merkkaa viikonloppu kalenteriisi. Assembly Winter tulee ROKKAAMAAN!

Assembly Winter 2014 is coming and there are lots of interesting changes 
about. The biggest change is probably the location, as we are heading to 
Helsinki Fair Centre (Messukeskus) and the dates are 31.1 - 2.2.2014 
(FRI-SUN).

We will be opening the website for Winter soon and also starting ticket 
sales in December. Ticket prices are roughly the same as last year, 
expecting 55 euros per computer seat and 30 euros for normal weekend ticket.

At the same time, you can also access the largest motorcycle exhibition 
in Finland, MP 2014 (Moottoripyöränäyttely 2014). You get free access 
with Assembly tickets to the show - although we are in separate halls.

The venue also allows us to expand the event, the computer places are a 
bit more spacier and there are more of those. We will have access for 
showers for the whole duration of the event and good restaurant 
facilities are open. Also loading to the venue is easier if you come by car.

Assembly Tournaments

We will have the following main tournaments at Assembly Winter 2014:

DotA2 - Total prize pool 5.000 eur
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Total prize pool 5.000 eur
Tekken TT2 - Total prize pool 2.000 eur

We are also organizing a big global tournament, from which we will tell 
more in December. Smaller tournaments will also be available like in the 
last event. The total prize pool for the event will be estimated to be 
over 30.000 euros.

We are thrilled to check the new venue, as Assembly will be back in Fair 
Centre after 15 years!

So reserve the weekend, mark the calendars. Winter is going to ROCK!
