Assembly Winter 2015 on taas tulossa ja paikkana jälleen kerran 
Messukeskus Helsingissä. Viime talvitapahtuma myytiin loppuun parissa 
viikossa, joten tänä vuonna tietokonepaikkojen määrää on kasvatettu 
ensisestään. Paikalta löytyy lähes 1700 konepaikkaa, isoin Assembly 
Winter ikinä! Lisäksi on tarjolla suositut isommat konepaikat sekä 
kokeiluluontoisesti pienemmät pöytäryhmät osassa hallia.

Isoin muutos tapahtuu kuitenkin lipunmyynnissä: otamme käyttöön uuden 
järjestelmän ja vanha Java-pohjainen lippukauppa pääsee hyvin ansaitulle 
eläkkeelle. Uutta Moya järjestelmää käyttää moni muukin suomalainen 
LAN-tapahtuma, joten osalle kävijöistä tämä uusi lippukauppa on jo 
toiminnaltaan tuttu.

Uuden järjestelmän vuoksi pankkisiirrolla maksaminen valitettavasti 
poistuu. Ostetut liput tulee maksaa heti tilauksen yhteydessä, joko 
verkkopankissa tai luottokortilla. Tutkimme myös esim paypal-maksamisen 
mahdollisuutta jatkossa, mutta toistaiseksi se ei ole mahdollista.

Mikäli siis tilaat useamman lipun tilaukseesi, kaikki on pakko maksaa 
samantein. Jos vedät isoa ryhmää, huomiothan kerätä muilta 
osallistujilta maksut ennakkoon.

MILLOIN LIPPUJA SAA?

Lipunmyynnin aloitus tapahtuu näillä näkymin maanantaina 14. joulukuuta 
klo 19:00. Tällöin otetaan suuret ryhmät sisään ensimmäisenä. Muille 
lipunmyynti avautuu seuraavana päivävä, 15. joulukuuta klo 19:00.

Konepaikkojen hinnat pysyvät 55 eurossa, isompien konepaikkojen hinta on 
65 euroa / kpl.

MITÄ MUUTA TULEE UUDEN LIPPUKAUPAN MYÖTÄ?

Aikaisemmassa lipunmyynnissä oli käytössä ns arvonta-malli, jossa 
ruuhkahuippuja pyrittiin tasaamaan arvonnan avulla. Tämä on nyt 
historiaa. Kun kirjaudut sisään lippukauppaan, sinut laitetaan 
automaattiseen jonoon ja pääset ostamaan lippuja kun oma vuorosi tulee.

Kaikkien lippujen saajien tulee rekisteröityä järjestelmään. Lippuja ei 
voida lunastaa rannekkeiksi, jos omistaja ei ole rekisteröitynyt. Tämän 
voi toki tehdä myöhemminkin, mutta lippuja ei voida siirtää nimiisi 
ilman, että olet rekisteröitynyt.

Paperiset liput ovat myös historiaa. Sinulle siirretty lippu tulee QR 
koodina matkapuhelimeesi tai muuhun mobiililaitteeseen, jossa se kulkee 
kätevämmin mukana. Ei siis enää printtausta tai hukkuneita tulosteita.

MITÄS ASSYILLA TAPAHTUU?

Kolme päivää LANitusta ja huipputurnauksia, kuten aikaisemminkin. Nyt 
varmistuneita turnauksia on ASUS ROG Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, 
jossa maailman parhaita pelaajia mittelee tämän talven herruudesta. 
Turnauksesta on myös luvassa suoraa TV-lähetystä kesän tapaan!

Muut turnaukset julkaistaan piakoittain, sisältöä tulee olemaan 
pro-pelaajille sekä harrastelijoille.

Assembly Winter 2015 is coming again and will be held in the Helsinki 
Fair Center. The last event was sold out within two weeks, so we have 
increased the amount of computer places for this event. We have almost 
1700 computer places in the event, so it is going to be the biggest 
Assembly Winter ever! In addition we have also larger computer places 
and smaller table groups in some parts of the venue.

The biggest change is in the ticket sales: the old system will 
gracefully retire and the new ticket sales system will be used for the 
first time. It is actually the same Moya system that many other 
LAN-events are using, so some participants are already familiar with it.

The payment process is also different, now you have to pay the tickets 
at the same them when you order them. Paying by direct bank transfer is 
not possible anymore. You can pay with netbank or by credit card. We are 
also looking the possibilities to add other payment methods in the 
future, like Paypal, but this is not yet possible.

So if you are ordering tickets for a larger group, you have to pay the 
whole order immediately when ordering it. Remember to collect payments 
from the other members of your group before you place the order.

WHEN DO I GET THE TICKETS?

We plan to start the tickets sales on Monday 14th December at 19:00 
Finnish time by starting from the large groups. The rest of the sales 
starts at 15th December at 19:00.

Tickets will be sold at www.assembly.org site.

Ticket prices are 55 euros for a normal computer place, 65 euros for a 
large one.

WHAT OTHER CHANGES ARE THERE WITH THE NEW TICKET SALES?

In the old ticket sales system we used lottery for handling the purchase 
queue. This is now history. When you sign in to the ticket sales you are 
given a position in the queue and we will pick new purchasers randomly.

Everyone who wishes to purchase or receive a ticket before the event 
must register to the system. You cannot receive a transferred ticket 
unless you have registered into the system.

Printed paper tickets are also gone: you will receive a QR code to your 
mobile phone or other device, which you can show at the entrance and 
receive your ticket(s). No more lost printouts.

WHAT HAPPENS AT ASSEMBLY WINTER?

Three days on LAN partying and world class tournaments, like before! We 
have already secured an ASUS ROG Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 
tournament, where the best players will battle for the winter 
domination. The tournament is also broadcasted in the National TV like 
in the summer.

Other tournaments will be published shortly, there will be activity for 
pro-players and hobbyists alike.
