ASSEMBLY Summer 2019



Under a month until Assembly Summer 2019 starts - the biggest Assembly in
history!!


This letter contains updated information about the upcoming event, tickets,
tournaments and program.





TICKETS AND COMPUTER PLACES

Assembly Summer has been sold out in the last two years and this year we
have increased the number of computer seats to over 4100 available seats,
making this the biggest Assembly event in history. Don’t miss out on the
epic experience, get your tickets before they run out!



Remember to check out our new categories: Family place for those coming to
enjoy gaming, demoscene & computer culture with their family and
Headphones-only area for those who want to enjoy their party in a more
quiet atmosphere!

There are also plenty of K22 Premium places left in the new Headphones-only
area, so if you don’t have tickets yet, go buy them now!

CONVERTING YOUR TICKET

Queuing isn’t your thing? You can avoid standing in ticket converting lines
by picking up your Assembly bracelets beforehand Messukeskus and from
Shelter Gameroom, Vuorikatu 16, Helsinki.

Information about the tournaments, sign-ups, prizes and rules can be found

Please notice that some of the tournaments are missing from the site – this
will change during the following weeks, as the site keeps getting updated!

CS:GO Omen by HP

The main stage will be filled with action-packed CS:GO matches when CS:GO
Omen by HP invites teams SJ Gaming, HAVU, Helsinki REDS and KOVA Esports to
battle against each other in this professional tournament with a prize pool
of €15,000. The format of the playoffs will be king of the hill.

Parents vs. Parents

Have a child? Let him or her mentor you in Overwatch and come show your
gaming skills in this epic Parents vs. Parents -challenge, which takes
place for the second time on Assembly Summer. Or maybe you will start
coaching your parents and take one to the challenge! The winner and their
family will receive awesome product prizes. The tournament has the capacity
for 10 participants.

So this is parents versus parents! (PVP)

Please notice that the parent has to sign-up into the tournament in order
to participate. All parents whose children are participating in Assembly
Summer (visitor or seat) are eligible to participate. You'll be allowed to
enter the event free of charge.

NHL Finnish Championship 2019

NHL Finnish Championship will have its final matches played on Assembly
Summer as teams and individuals battle for glory on virtual ice. We will
see the final matches in two categories, 6vs6 and 1vs1.

Telia Esport Series Finland: Arena of Valor (Season 1)

TES: AoV Season 1 started on 27th of April. Eight teams measured one
another during the spring and summer, and four teams will continue to
versus each other in the playoffs. Winners of the playoffs will meet each
other again when the season climaxes to the final match, which takes place
on the main stage at Assembly Summer 2019!

Super Smash Bros (Melee and Ultimate)

We will see a total of six tournaments in Super Smash Bros:

Amateur, Doubles and Singles tournament will be held for both Melee and
Ultimate games.

STIGA Table Hockey

Finnish Table Hockey Association brings the iconic game to Assembly Summer
for the first time ever!  Amateur level tournaments (lasting 2-3 hours per
tournament) will be held once a day and several table hockey rinks are
available for playing throughout the weekend.

Immersal Augmented Reality competition

In collaboration with Immersal, Assembly is arranging an Augmented Reality
competition in conjunction with Real Wild competition. The task is to make
a demo using Immersal SDK that will use Augmented Reality! Even though the
Augmented Reality competition is part of the Assembly Real Wild
competition, the prizes are paid separately on top of any possible other
prizes from the Real Wild competition. You will participate to Immersal
competition automatically if you use the SDK and submit your entry to
Assembly Real Wild competition.

WAPPURADIO

Rakkauden Wappuradio will take the helm of a ship sailing on radio waves
known as Assembly Radio.

The radio will broadcast all kinds of Assembly related program from morning
to evening and during the night your senses will be delighted by music from
our Assembly archive. Great for getting rid of the earworms one might catch
during the event! The radio will be broadcast live at assembly.org/radio


Assembly NightRave

Assembly rave is finally back! Come and dance your worries away!

On Saturday-Sunday night room 103 turns into a rave cave, transferring the
room into an extraterrestrial dimension filled with geometrical decorations
and hypnotizing kaleidoscope-like interactive visuals, all while your
eardrums are served a wide range of electronic soundscapes varying from
happy hardcore to j-core and to tribal hard tekno and everything in
between! You don’t want to miss out this audiovisual experience! The event
will be live streamed by Kaaosradio. Assembly NightRave is provided by
artists from collectives Voema, Kaaosradio and Club Infektio. Lights,
decorations and visuals are provided by Elektrik Alliance and Voeman
Decotiimi.
