ASSEMBLY Newsletter 10/2019


It has been a while! We have been intensively planning our GameXpo and
Winter events and finally have some long awaited information to offer you.
This newsletter contains info about GameXpo program, tickets and
tournaments. You can find the info for Assembly Winter 2020 ticket sales on
the bottom of the newsletter.

ASSEMBLY GameXpo 2019 BYOC tournaments -  over 10 000 € prize pool!

Assembly GameXpo will be held for the first time during 15.-17.11.2019
(Fri-Sun) in Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre Helsinki. Besides
experiencing the wide variety of GameXpo activities, Assembly offers a
chance for additional LAN-party experience during the event.

The event is dedicated purely to casual tournaments. Total prize pool value
for all casual tournaments is over 10 000 euros in the following games:

ASSEMBLY GameXpo: Logitech G Challengers

BYOC - Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (prizepool ~2500eur)

BYOC - Overwatch (prizepool ~3000eur)

BYOC - League of Legends (prizepool ~2500eur)

BYOC - Rainbow Six: Siege (prizepool ~2500eur)

BYOC - StarCraft II (prizepool ~500eur)

The finals for SC2, LoL and CS:GO will be played at the main Gamexpo stage
on Saturday, creating a similar experience as you would be participating in
a professional tournament!

You can participate to all casual tournaments with your Assembly computer
place ticket.

Assembly GameXpo will feature loads of gaming related program, casual
tournaments and an atmosphere filled with like-minded gamers. Check out
some of the program tidbits below!

By getting your computer place you’ll get entrance to the Telia Esports
Series finals, played on Friday at 23:00, aired LIVE on national TV.

PROGRAM

This years GameXpo will bring the visitors more gaming related activities
than ever! You can try out over 30 nostalgic arcane games at GameXpo -
don’t miss out on the chance to try these goldies! IS Streamcorner can also
be found on GameXpo, bringing some of the hottest streamers in Finland to
the event. Telia and HAVU will offer the visitors a chance to test their
skills in esports and compete for a spot in HAVU’s second CS:GO team. And
don’t forget about the Finnish Cosplay Championship held on the program
stage, transforming the ordinary life into a well crafted fantasy. You can

Professional tournaments

In PUBG1000 tournament over thousand of enthusiastic PUBG players will
compete for the prize pool worth of 5000 €. The tournament is not BYOC and
will be played on computers available at the event. You can participate by

Telia Esports Series Season 2 (CS:GO) finale will be played live from
GameXpo 2019. The prize pool is worth hefty 40,000 €. More information (in

Casual tournaments

Assembly GameXpo will host casual tournaments for Counter-Strike: Global
Offensive, League of Legends, Overwatch, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and
Starcraft 2. The prizes consist entirely out of product prizes, total worth
estimating around 10,000 €. The finals will be played on the main stage!

ASSEMBLY Winter 2020

Ticket sales for the biggest esports dedicated LAN-event in Finland will
start on the 18th of November.  Assembly Winter 2020 will be held during
20. - 23.2.2020 in Messukeskus. The event takes place on Week 8, during the
“skiing holidays” in southern Finland. This year Assembly Winter event is
growing from three day event to four day event, similar to Assembly Summer
- that’s four days of pure gaming & esports related programme and
activities.

Tickets prices? We will have a late Christmas gift to you: while the winter
event duration grows to four days, the ticket prices will be roughly the
same as previously! One more day with the same ticket price! We will
announce the details later in November.  Ticket sales is starting some time
after Gamexpo event is over.
