COVID-19 INFO

Viranomaisilta tulleiden säännösten mukaan isojen julkisten tapahtumien
pitäminen on kielletty kevään ja kesän 2020 aikana. Assembly Summer 2020
järjestetään elokuun alussa ja jatkamme tässä vaiheessa tapahtuman
suunnittelua normaalisti - tämänhetkisen tiedon valossa epidemia lienee jo
pääosin ohi tuohon aikaan. Seuraamme kuitenkin tilannetta ja viranomaisten
ohjeistuksia liittyen epidemiaan. Mikäli tapahtuman ajankohdalle on
voimassaolevia käytänteitä tai ohjeistuksia liittyen koronavirukseen,
noudatamme niitä asianmukaisesti. Osallistujien ja tapahtumajärjestäjien
hyvinvointi on meidän tärkein prioriteettimme.

Mikäli kuitenkin Assembly Summer 2020 tapahtuma joudutaan perumaan ilman
uutta päivämäärää, kaikki lipun ostaneet saavat rahansa takaisin. Joten
assylippu on turvallista ostaa, vaikka koronan takia partyt jouduttaisiin
peruuttamaan. Mikäli sinulla on kysyttävää, voit lähettää sähköpostia
helpdesk at assembly.org. Pyrimme vastaamaan kaikkiin tiedusteluihin 2-3
päivän sisällä.

HEADPHONES ONLY -ALUE



Testasimme hiljaisempaa headphones only -aluetta Summer 2019 -tapahtumassa
ja valitettavasti epäonnistuimme tässä pahasti. Alue oli kävijöiden osalta
hiljainen, mutta oma ohjelmamme rikkoi hiljaisuutta. Tänä vuonna korjaamme
tilanteen! Headphones Only -alue tulee sijaitsemaan kokonaan omassa
hallilohkossaan, jolloin tapahtuman muu ohjelma ei tule häiritsemään
samalla lailla viikonlopun lanitusta!

Headphones only -alueen lipunmyynti alkaa Ke 15.4 klo 09:00! Alueelta voi
ostaa  Premium, K22, Family Place ja Jimm’s rental Place -paikkoja. Alueen
yhteydestä löytyy pieni kodinkonealue ja infoscreen. Alueelle ei saa tuoda
omia kaiuttimia.

FAMILY PAIKAT



Family -paikat ovat kuten Premium -paikat ja tarkoitettu heille, jotka
haluavat tulla kokemaan Assemblyt esimerkiksi perheen pienempienkin kanssa!
Paikat sijaitsevat hiljaisemmalla headphones-only alueella. Alueelle on
myös suunnitteilla pieni “aikuisparkki” Family paikkalaisille!

Family-paikkalipuilla ei ole ikärajoitusta, mutta suosittelemme alle
13-vuotiaiden tulevan vanhemman/vanhempien/muun huoltajan kanssa.

JIMM’S RENTAL PAIKAT



Oletko aina halunnut kokea Assyjen koko viikonlopun kestävät lanit, mutta
et ole voinut tuoda omaa konetta paikalle? Tänä vuonna tarjoamme tätä
varten ratkaisua: Jimm’sin vuokrakonepaikkoja! Jimm’s rental -paikat ovat
Premium -paikkoja, mutta lippuun kuuluu mukaan vuokralle assyjen ajaksi
Jimm’sin PC-kone ja näyttö - joita voit käyttää koko viikonlopun ajan. Kone
ei sisällä näppäimistöä, hiirtä tai hiirimattoa, ne sinun tulee tuoda
mukanasi. Paikat sijaitsevat hiljaisella headphones-only alueella. Lisää
tietoa ja tarkemmat speksit laitteista löytyvät myöhemmin nettisivuiltamme.
Huom! Nämä paikat ovat myynnissä vain 30.6 asti, joten varaa paikkasi
ajoissa!


ASSEMBLY T-PAITA & OVERNIGHT PAKETTI

Assembly T-paitoja voi nyt ennakkotilata Lippu.fin verkkokaupasta! Voit
ostaa paitasi samalla kun ostat lippusi. Saat myös 5€ alennuksen ennakkoon
ostetusta paidasta (normaali hinta 20€)!

Tänä kesänä tuomme myyntiin uuden tuotteen, Overnight paketin, joka tekee
partykokemuksestasi taatusti nautinnollisemman! Paketti sisältää mukavat
tohvelit, pehmeän pyyhkeen ja neljä paria korvatulppia. Ennakkotilaa omasi
vain 10€ hintaan!

Ennakkotilatut tuotteet voi noutaa tapahtumassa ASM Shopista, expon
aukioloaikoina.

ASSEMBLY OHJELMA



Assembly Summer tulee jälleen olemaan täynnä huikeaa ohjelmaa. Tarkempi
ohjelma ja aikataulu julkaistaan lähempänä tapahtumaa, mutta tässä jo vähän
maistiaisia!

Casual Turnaukset ja Esports



Assyt ei olisi Suomen isoimmat LANit ilman casual turnauksia! Assembly
Summer 2020 tapahtumassa kaikki konepaikkalipun ostaneet pääsevät ottamaan
mittaa toisistaan seuraavien pelien parissa; CS:GO, Overwatch, League of
Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite ja PUBG. Olemme myös päivittäneet
palkintoja tälle kesälle ja *koko 10 000€ palkintopotti tullaan jakamaan
voittajille rahana*. Lisätiedot näistä turnauksista ja palkintojen
maksuista löytyy aikanaan Assemblyn turnaussivuilta.

Kesällä nähdään tietysti myös kovatasoista pro-pelaamista, seuraa
sosiaalista mediaamme ja nettisivuja, joihin päivitetään tarkempaa tietoa
myöhemmin.



Demoskene



Demoskene on aina ollut tärkeä osa Assemblyä, ja niin on jatkossakin.
Kesällä on taas luvassa kovia kompoja niin päälavalla kuin Scene Loungessa!
Kompot ja tarkemmat säännöt julkaistaan pian, pääsiäisen jälkeen
nettisivuillamme. Luvassa on vanhoja tuttuja kategorioita, mutta myös
jotain aivan uutta… tänä kesänä kannattaa valmistautua laajentamaan sekä
näkökenttäänsä että odotuksiaan ;)

Streamcorner

Tule tutustumaan striimaajiin ja muihin faneihin, löydä uusia suosikkeja ja
paljon muuta! Streamcornerissa nähdään ensi kesänä ainakin seuraavat
striimaajat: Jawwe, Alealel, Paulwithaneye, Vertigal ja JETBAT.

Creative Area

Creative Area on alue, jossa pääset tutustumaan, kokeilemaan ja olemaan osa
aktiviteetteja jotka liittyvät esim. Demoskeneen, pelikehitykseen tai
digitaaliseen kulttuuriin ylipäänsä. Alueella järjestetään viikonlopun
aikana työpajoja kaiken ikäisille, demoskene kompoja, seminaareja ja muuta
mielenkiintoista ohjelmaa!


Cosplay


Missasitko Cosplay-kisat viime vuonna? Ei hätää, Cosplay kisat järjestetään
tänäkin kesänä Assembly Summer 2020 tapahtumassa! Tule paikalle ihailemaan
upeita cosplay-asuja päälavalla!


Muuta ohjelmaa


Näiden lisäksi Assemblyilla tullaan näkemään runsaasti muutakin ohjelmaa,
mm: Tetriksen SM-kisat, Game Jam, Robosota, Tanssipelejä, Speedrunia ja
reivit! Seuraa sosiaalista mediaamme ja nettisivuja, johon päivitämme
ohjelmaa.

APRIL NEWSLETTER, FRESH FROM THE PRINT!

COVID-19 INFO

The Finnish government and health authorities have issued restrictions,
which state that all large events are not to be held during the spring of
2020. Assembly Summer 2020 will be organized in August and at this point we
plan to move forward with the event. In light of current knowledge, the ban
should not be valid anymore during August. However, we will closely monitor
the situation as well as official guidelines and rules, and act
accordingly. The safety of our participants and crew is a priority to us.

Should our event be cancelled without rescheduling, we will issue a full
refund to all ticket holders. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to
contact us at helpdesk at assembly.org - we aim to answer within 2-3 days.

HEADPHONES-ONLY AREA



Last year we tested out a headphones-only area, meant for those who like to
focus on their LAN-experience without speakers and meme music around them.
Unfortunately we failed with this attempt, as our own program disturbed the
area. This time we heard your feedback loud and clear and the area will be
in a separate hall with no program or stages nearby!

The ticket sales for Headphones-only area starts on Wed 15th of April and
available tickets will be Premium, K22 and Family places. There will also
be a small area for kitchen appliances and an infoscreen to keep you
updated on everything that’s going on at the party.



FAMILY PLACES



Last year we also tried out another new ticket-type, Family place. These
tickets are best fit for families who want to come to the event to play and
enjoy together. All family places are located at the Headphones-only area,
where you can enjoy a calm atmosphere and a safe event. We are also
planning to have a small “adult parking space” for Family place ticket
holders!

Family places have no age limits, but we recommend that kids under 13 come
with a parent(s) or older guardian.

JIMM’S RENTAL PLACES



Have you always wanted to bring your own computer with you to Assembly, but
haven’t had the opportunity to do so? This year we are testing a solution
for this, by offering a Premium place at Headphones-only Area with rental
equipment! The ticket includes normal Premium place features, but it comes
with Jimm’s PC and display. Pack your keyboard and mouse, and come enjoy
the full LAN-experience at Assembly! More info and specs can be found later
on, on our website under tickets. These tickets will be for sale only until
30th of June!

ASSEMBLY T-SHIRT & OVERNIGHT PACKAGE

Assembly T-shirts are now available for pre-order from Lippu.fi! You can
buy your T-shirt together with your tickets. You also get a 5€ discount for
pre-ordered shirts (Normal price 20€)!

This summer we are bringing you a new product, a selection of  items to
make your stay a bit cozier; Overnight package! The package includes a pair
of comfy slippers, a fresh towel and 4 sets of single-use ear plugs for
better sleeping experience. Pre-order your set for only 10€!

Pre-ordered goods can be picked up at the event from the ASM Shop, during
expo opening hours.

ASSEMBLY PROGRAM



The definite program will be released closer to the event, but we already
have some highlights to share with you!

Casual Tournaments and Esports



It wouldn’t be the biggest LAN-party in Finland without casual tournaments!
This summer we will have casual tournaments on CS:GO, Overwatch, League of
Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite and PUBG. We also made some updates on
the prizes, this year we’ll be giving altogether 10 000€ in pure cash to
all winners!



And of course we will also have professional esports tournaments, follow
our social media and website for more info later on.



Demoscene



Demoscene has always played a major part of Assembly Summer, and it won’t
change this year either! More information about demo competition rules and
participation will follow around easter. Stay tuned for something
completely new and different for this year, and get ready to widen your
mind and expectations ;)

Streamcorner

Connect with streamers and other fans, discover new favourites and much
more. Come and see the action live, confirmed streamers so far are: Jawwe,
Alealel, Paulwithaneye, Vertigal and JETBAT.

Creative Area



At Creative Area you will find different activities related to demoscene,
game dev and digital culture. There will be workshops for all ages,
demoscene compos, seminars and other interesting program to fill up your
weekend!

Cosplay


Are you ready for more cosplay? The Assembly Cosplay Competition is back
with a bang for Assembly Summer 2020! Get ready to see more amazing
costumes on the big stage!



Classic Tetris Finnish Championship 2020

CTEC Finland gathers the best Tetris players in Finland to compete in three
classic Tetris games! This year CTEC Finland is an official qualifier
competition for the Classic Tetris European Championship 2020, which means
that CTEC Finland is open to all players, regardless of nationality and the
winner is eligible to a guaranteed place in the CTEC 2020 tournament, held
at Copenhagen, Denmark.

Other activities


If even after all this you’re just not quite sure if there’s enough
interesting content for you to stay entertained the whole weekend, not to
worry! Assembly has a ton of other activities coming up; Game Jam,
Robowars, Machine Dance, Speedrun, Raves and much more! Follow our social
media and website for updating info on all of our program.
